Well, I have been on the Zoloft and Remeron since Monday night and I already feel a difference. I went from 3-4 hours of restless sleep a night to 8-9 hours of SOUND sleep. I mean the kind where a train outside my window wouldn't wake me up.
I can pretty much plan when I want to go to sleep by timing the meds. Which is really cool!
I feel much better when I wake up in the morning and throughout the day I don't get as sleepy mid-day. I have been able to concentrate more at work, which is important when dealing with thousands of dollars worth of inventory a day! Before I was making mistakes that I should not have been making and then having to try to explain it to my boss was making things much more stressful.
I had stopped taking my meds about 3 years ago(on my own) because I felt like they weren't working anymore, but now I know I need them and I am OK with that.
I know that the meds aren't working 100% yet, but just getting a little more sleep has helped tremendously.
I used to dread the hours of tossing and turning, but I look forward to bedtime now! :-)
Cynthia, Thanks for the support in helping me find some relief. I am glad I had you to talk through the anxiety with!
