Electric Shock Treatment

What do you think about ECT?

It's barbaric and should be illegal.

It should only be used as a last resort because it's so damaging.

It's quite safe, and a lifesaver for lots of depressed people.

Is anyone still getting ECT? I thought it was a thing of the past.

It only helps certain types of depression.

It causes you to lose your memory.

It's only for crazy people.

I know someone who's been hurt by it and wishes they hadn't done it.

I know someone who's been helped by it and loves it.

I never heard of ECT.
