Depression Help Now
                              

 

If you found yourself answering "yes" to the questions on the Depression Self-Test page, you could begin to get relief today.  In fact there are dozens of ways to feel less depressed, but I want to share a few with you that you may never have heard of before.  These are tricks to more well-being that many depressed people I've worked with have used to get at least some of the relief they seek immediately.

 

These tools are in no way meant to replace therapy, but they can provide relief while you're:

  • Waiting to get to therapy,
  • Waiting for therapy to work,
  • Learning to manage a depression that requires more than therapy,
  • Waiting for medication to work, or
  • Waiting to find out if you really need therapy, which you may not if this is a brief, isolated incident.

I would put the tools on this page, but I want to develop a list of people who may want more information from me, particularly about depression.  I have for ten years now answered everyone individually when they've written me.  I will continue to do that, but I also want to be able to send out information to many people at once, when I think it might be useful to you.
